Mama: Get in the Frame 🤍
If you’re anything like me, you probably have thousands of photos of your kids.
Their milestones. Their memories.
The little things you never want to forget.
But when you scroll back through them…How many of those photos have you in them?
Not just a quick selfie. But real, intentional photos where you’re right there with them. Connecting with them.
As moms, we’re usually the ones capturing everything.
We’re the memory keepers. The documenters. The ones making sure these moments don’t slip away.
But somewhere along the way, we forget to include ourselves in the story…
We tell ourselves we’ll get in the next one
when we feel a little more put together, when we lose a little weight, when we feel a little more confident, a little more “ready.”
And the truth is… our kids aren’t going to look back one day and wish there were more perfectly posed photos of just them.
They’re going to look for us.
The way we held them.
The way we laughed with them.
The way we were part of their world.
That’s what matters.
So this is your reminder, Mama:
Get in the frame.
Ask someone to take the photo.
Set up the tripod.
Book the session.
Hand your camera to someone else for once.
Be in the photo, even if it feels a little awkward at first.
Even if it’s not perfect.
Even if it’s just for a few minutes.
Because years from now, those images won’t be about how everything or everyone looked…
They’ll be about who was there.
So take the photo.
Get in closer.
Stay in the frame a little longer.
You’ll never regret being in the story.
