For my first blog I thought it would be most appropriate to introduce myself, my brand and why this means so much to me..

So hi again, I’m Maddie.

I’m a motherhood and family photographer, but I’m also a mama to three of my favorite little people in the world, and a wife to my husband who has walked through every season of life right alongside me. They are the reason I see life the way I do and the reason my heart feels so pulled toward preserving memories!

Motherhood has truly changed everything for me. It’s made me slower in the ways that matter. More aware of the small moments, and a lot more emotional about how quickly everything moves. I’ve learned firsthand how easy it is to be in the middle of something beautiful and not even realize it until it’s already a memory.

That’s why photography is so important to me.

This will never be just a job for me (I mean yes it puts food on the table, but you get what I mean) It’s a way to help you hold onto the pieces of life that matter most. The real ones. The messy ones. The in-between ones that don’t always feel big in the moment but end up meaning everything later.

My style is very much rooted in connection. I’m not here to make you perform or feel stiff in front of a camera. I want you to feel comfortable, present, and like yourself. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I’m always looking for what’s real. The laughter, the movement, the way you naturally love your people.

Because that’s where the magic is.

This business means more to me than I can really put into words. Every session is someone’s story, and I don’t take that lightly. Whether it’s growing families, tiny newborn details, or the chaos of toddlers running wild, it all matters. Every season deserves to be remembered.
