From booking to gallery delivery: a complete guide.

My goal is for your entire experience to feel comfortable, easy, and stress-free from the moment you book to receiving your final gallery.

If you’ve ever thought about booking a session but felt a little nervous about what it would actually be like… this is for you.

I know exactly how it feels to wonder if your kids will cooperate or if everything will come together the way you’re hoping.. If it will even be an enjoyable experience or will it just be stressful the entire time.

I’m here to let you know from the beginning,

it doesn’t have to feel that way.

Because my sessions are built around real life. Not perfection. I don’t expect everything to go “just right”… I’m there to meet you exactly where you are and capture your special moments as they naturally unfold.

Booking

Once you decide to book your session, I’ll send over all the details you need to officially secure your date.

You’ll receive your session guide, contract,  invoice, and questionnaire, along with all the information you need to start planning your session with ease. Once your contract is signed and your retainer is paid, you are officially on my books!

I’ll also be here to help you every step of the way. Whether that’s choosing outfits, picking the perfect location, or answering any questions that come up along the way.

Before your session

From the moment you reach out, my goal is to make this as easy and stress free as possible for you.

I’ll help guide you through everything. I have a session guide for each session type with tips for outfits, locations, timing, FAQ’s… and all the little details that can feel overwhelming. I’m also always available for any questions you may have.

If you’re a mom reading this, I know you’re probably carrying a lot already. This is not something I want to add pressure or expectations to. Your portrait session should feel exciting, not heavy.

Picture time

This is the part most people worry about… and honestly, it’s usually the easiest.

Your kids don’t have to sit perfectly still.

They don’t have to smile on command.

They don’t have to be “on their best behavior.”

They just get to be themselves.

I’ll gently guide you when needed, but I’m not there to force moments. I’m there to notice them.

The way your child reaches for your hand.

The little laughs in between poses.

The way you naturally pull them in close without even thinking.

It’s such a common misconception that youre required to stay still for portraits. I actually encourage  movement during sessions, because that’s where so much real connection shows.

And if things feel a little chaotic at times? That’s okay too. Some of the most meaningful images come from those in-between moments.

After your session

After your session, I carefully go through and edit your images with the same care and intention I had while capturing them.

You’ll receive a gallery filled with moments that feel like you… Not overly posed, not forced, just real.

My goal isn’t just to give you photos.

It’s to give you something you can come back to years from now and feel exactly how you felt in this moment.

Gallery Delivery

You’ll receive an email letting you know your gallery is ready within about 2 weeks of your session date (3 weeks for peak busy season).

Your final images will be delivered through an online gallery where you can easily view, download, and share your photos with family and friends. Your download code will be included right at the bottom of that email for quick and simple access.

You will also have the option to order professional quality prints right from your gallery, making it super easy to turn your favorite images into something tangible you can hold onto, hang in your home, and enjoy every day.

I know how exciting it is to see your images for the first time, and I take a lot of pride in making sure your gallery feels intentional, emotional, and true to your session. This isn’t just a delivery. It’s the final piece of your experience, and I want it to feel just as special as the moments we created together.

At the end of the day, this isn’t about perfect outfits or perfectly behaved kids.

It’s about this season of life you’re in right now.

The way your baby still fits in your arms.

The way your kids laugh.

The little things you don’t even realize you’ll miss one day.

Those are the things worth remembering.

And it’s such an honor for me to capture them for you.

If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, I would truly love to work with you.
